Named after a favorite saying of owner Marco Butturini’s mother — meaning “Yes, it’s fresh!” — Lé Fresca carries the traditional flavors of Italy’s Lake Garda to downtown Birmingham. Located in the historic Loft District on 2nd Avenue North, we pair authentic wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas, and locally sourced seasonal produce, with an expansive collection of Italian focused wines and classic/artisan cocktails alike. Originally from Peschiera del Garda, Italy, restauranteur Marco Butturini has become a beloved fixture of the Birmingham culinary community. After shaping his warm service philosophy and expertise for over 30 years not only in his hometown, but also at renowned and celebrated establishments in Birmingham, Marco opened the doors to Lé Fresca February 10th, 2020.

Marco believes that an exceptional dining experience is about more than just what’s on the plate—it’s about how you feel the moment you cross the threshold. He translates this into an unpretentious neighborhood gathering space that prides itself on delivering not only a taste of Verona, but the professionalism that locals have come to cherish for decades.
